The below units are required by the Office of Fair Trading Qld to hold a Real Estate Auctioneer’s Licence in Qld:-
CPPREP4001 Prepare for professional practice in real estate
CPPREP4002 Access and interpret ethical practice in real estate
CPPREP4003 Access and interpret legislation in real estate
CPPREP4004 Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate
CPPREP4005 Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts
CPPREP4161 Undertake pre-auction processes
CPPREP4162 Conduct and complete sale by auction
CPPREP4163 Complete post-auction process and contract execution
CPPREP4125 Transact in trust accounts
CPPREP5006 Manage operational finances in the property industry
In addition to the above units our course includes the following additional units, allowing you to also be a Chattels Auctioneer in Queensland which incorporates, livestock, cars, equipment fine art, collectables ect.
CPPREP4508 Conduct livestock auctions
CPPREP4509 Auction goods, chattel, or equipment
How long does it take to complete the Queensland Auctioneer’s Course?
You are supplied with the Resources for your course prior to course commencement so that you can read and absorb the content well before your course begins. The Course is run over 4 classroom contact days with 2 days devoted to the required study units and the remaining 2 days auction coaching to build and develop your auction call. Students who require more time have the option of completing assessments in their own time after the classroom contact hours. The course is held several times a year on the Sunshine Coast or can be completed via correspondence for those who already have some auction experience. We offer you 6 months to complete the course from commencement.

How do I apply for my Queensland Auctioneer’s Licence?
Upon the successful completion of the course, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment which, together with your Application Form needs to be submitted to the Office of Fair Trading Queensland.
